This is my tenth year teaching secondary English, and this is my fourth year at GHS. I have previously taught in TN, GA, SC, and NM (we have moved to where the Army has needed us the past eighteen years, but we have decided to make Germantown home). I have two elementary-aged children and a full house of four-leg babies.
I received my teaching degree from NMSU in Las Cruces, NM, and my Masters in Education in Special Education through Columbus State University. I am working to finish my Education Specialist degree at Arkansas State University (Educational Leadership with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction), so I am also a student this year.
I love my role in building life-long learners and leaders within this community.
As Inky Johnson has said, "You have two options: make progress or make excuses." I am looking forward to a year of progress for all this academic year
